Garry took me along to see The Dumb Waiter on Friday evening. The play was not really my cup of tea, but might have been better if the direction had not been so lax. Lee Evens out-acted Jason Isaacs.
Afterwards, Garry went home and I met up with Joseph, Richard, and Tony in The Yard. £6 for a Gin and Tonic! I find myself retricted from saying more because of someone else’s secrets.
I went to see Frost/Nixon tonight with Bill R. I thought it was an engaging piece of theatre in itself, but I was also surprised at the parallels with Blair. Substitute Iraq for Cambodia and my own view that Blair puts himself above the law and a Frost/Blair play is not out of the question.
