She was unable to get a consistent believable reading from the blood pressure monitor and then told me that in any case the G.P. would have to be the one to revise the medication as she couldn’t amend the prescription even following the instructions from the diabetes clinic at St. Thomas’.

She did give me a shiny new sharps bin and told me that my HbA1c was excellent. As a result I went on a binge which left me feeling quite unwell later. Tesco should be banned from selling cream cakes to diabetics…
